Picasa for ALL

Is your camera full of photos that you haven't organized.  Maybe you need to use Picasa.  Picasa is a photo management system that lets you organize, view, edit and share your photos. Richard Gillespie gave us an excellent review of Picasa.  To review his tutorial, click on one of the links below.

LSCS Bond Election

Dr. Audre Levy, President of LSC-CyFair, invited ALL members to a breakfast to talk about the upcoming LSCS bond election.  She presented information, see below, and answered our questions regarding the election.

Advisory Board Meeting - April 2013

The Advisory Board held their monthly meeting on Wednesday, April 17 in CASA Room 121 starting at 11:15am. We are in the final stages of planning the Fall classes. Bus Trip dates have been secured and venues have been planned through September. We will let you know the date and place for bus trip sign-ups as soon as details are finalized. The Board is making a plea to membership - we need more volunteers to join in the process of planning events, classes and bus trips. Since this is a "fluid" group of people, Board Members need to cycle in and out periodically. If you are an active ALL member who appreciates the benefits of the ALL program, please think about stepping up to take a leading role on the Advisory Board.  Minutes of April Meeting - Click Here

Dog Training

Kathleen Milford led a wonderful class on the many fields of Dog Training.  Dogs are not only man's best friend, they are helpful in many occupations and avocations as well. In the March 26th class Kathleen showed us pictures of different working environments and the different breeds that are used.  In the April 2nd class she had her three corgi dogs and they showed us a "tracking" exercise.
