Do you like to travel? Would you like to find someone with similar travel interests? The purpose of Friday's travel class was to bring together people interested in traveling to various destinations. It is always more fun to travel with a friend rather than alone....and many times it is more economical. Peggy Presnell has graciously taken on the task of putting travel-minded ALL members in touch with each other. There is a big, beautiful world out there.....let's go see it while we can.

Travel Tips from Peggy

Peggy Presnell has presented four travel oriented classes to the ALL members. She, and others, shared information from their personal travels to many locations near and far. Look at the bottom of page two for a couple of trips for which she has reserved group space for ALL. Wouldn't it be fun to travel with some of your ALL friends. Travel - Canada or Grand Canyon

Peggy Presnell will lead another travel class on Thursday, April 1st at 1:30. She is doing a lot of phone work to find us the best pricing for trips to interesting places. Even though Peggy is associated with a travel agency, she is NOT a paid employee.....but this association allows her to have access to behind the scenes info on trips. Please come to the meeting on Thursday to see what's coming up. Attached is info on a couple of trips that people requested. One is a cross-Canada trip with most of the travel being on the great passenger trains that go through beautiful territory. The other trip going from Phoenix, up through the Grand Canyon and on to Vegas. If you are interested in this trip, please call Peggy at 281-304-7127.

Peggy Presnell and Ann Candela led a great discussion on traveling - whether on a cruise or a land trip. They are both seasoned travelers with lots of insight. Since Peggy now has access to some great deals with a travel agency, let's get a group together for a trip. Booking trips through Peggy doesn't add anything to the cost (she doesn't get a salary from the agency, but may get a few perks such as tickets to shore excursions).
