Big Bend National Park

Big Bend National Park, one of the last remaining wild corners of the United States, is sometimes considered "three parks in one," with mountain, desert, and river environments. The park encompasses more than 800,000 acres including the 1,000 miles of boundary between the US and Mexico. Native peoples lived in and around this area for thousands of years. Visit Big Bend National Park to discover the rich cultural history of this unique area.
