Ancient Villas of Stabiae

During her LSC-CyFair Study Abroad trip in June 2017, Cheryl LeJune learned about the recently rediscovered mega-villas of Stabiae along the Gulf of Naples. These villas were built by the super-rich of the Roman society, but ultimately fell to the same fate as Herculaneum and Pompeii during the 79AD eruption of Mt. Vesuvius.
